Request Data Deletion

Last updated: July 28, 2026 · Effective: July 28, 2026

This page explains how you can delete or manage data related to JustHide (“App”). It is provided for Google Play and users who wish to exercise data-related rights.

Operator: Independent developer
Contact: support.won@gmail.com

1. What Data Exists

JustHide is a local utility. We do not operate user accounts or store your hidden file contents on our own servers.

  • On your device: hide-path settings, indexes, feature toggles, thumbnail cache, optional on-device logs, and locally stored Pro membership status (whether you have purchased Pro).
  • Google Play: If you buy Pro, payment and order records are processed and held by Google under your Google account.
  • Firebase Crashlytics (Google): When the App crashes, diagnostic data (such as stack traces, App version, device model, and OS version) may be sent to Google Firebase to help us fix issues. This does not include the contents of files you hide. See the Privacy Policy for details.

2. Delete Data Yourself (Recommended)

  1. Hidden files: Restore hidden files or remove hide folders in the App before deleting App data, if you still need access to those files.
  2. App cache: Clear image/thumbnail cache in App settings where available.
  3. App data: In Android system settings, use “Clear storage” / “Clear data” for JustHide.
  4. Uninstall: Removes data in the App’s private storage. Uninstalling does not automatically restore files you hid on shared storage — restore them in the App first if needed.

Google Play orders: Manage or delete purchase history via your Google Account data & privacy settings and Google Play order history.

Crash reports: Data processed by Google Firebase is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.

3. Request by Email

If you cannot perform the steps above or applicable law requires us to assist, email us. We will explain what can be deleted on-device versus what is held by Google, and respond within 30 days where reasonable.

Include: App name (JustHide), package name if known, device model (optional), and what you want deleted or corrected.

Email: support.won@gmail.com

4. What We Cannot Do Remotely

Because we do not host your files or a user database, we cannot remotely erase data on your phone or Google’s systems. Deletion of local App data is performed by you on the device; Google-held purchase and crash data is managed through Google’s tools and policies.
